Treasurer's Report P. Edwards reported the tax package has been signed and mailed. OpenMPE will receive a refund.

2008 Election Walter Murray has decided to run. The election starts on Monday, 02/11 and ends on Friday, 02/29.

Communication OpenMPE needs to be more proactive about letting the community know what we're doing. D. Hofmeister to ask John Dunlop to send emails to hp3000-l and openmpe-l once approved minutes are posted.

GHRUG OpenMPE is hosting a session.

MPE Certification P. Edwards has a conference call scheduled with HP to discuss reinstating MPE certification.

Meeting w/ HP Jeff Bandle was invited to join the Board meeting. The Board entered executive session.

Next Meeting The next Board meeting will be on February 14th.

Encompass Encompass, Interex-EMEA, ITUG and HPC (High-Performance Computing) are merging into one user group. C. Ciesinski has suggested that all the Board members of these groups be given lifetime memberships in Encompass. C. Ciesinski was asked to contact Jennie Hou inquiring if the old Interex database/membership list can be queried.

Unless otherwise noted, all resolutions were carried by the unanimous vote of all members present.
